![]() You need to either hit the lit lane at the top of the table or the bottom, which ever is lit. After the mission, hit the hole again and GOO will start. Also if you spell both GOO and Venom VS Spiderman, and both are lit, Battle always starts first. Once done, hit the sink hole to start the mission, the sink hole will say "battle" under it in red. Venom VS Spiderman is spelled out on the back wall of the table. It seems like a lot, but this actually goes pretty quick. First, I'll tell you how to complete the Battle mission: You need to spell out "Venom VS Spiderman" by hitting the ball around either side of the upper sink hole using the upper 3 flippers. ![]() ![]() For the record, I am reposting my guide from the FX2 game which is the same as this one should be. ( actually I also completed Goo ball, but I don't think that matters, maybe it does) I just got this like this so they may fix this glitch. I only completes Battle mission and this unlocked for me. ![]() The lag using Epic PBFX on a simple desktop 1920x1080 60Hz screen vs using Steam FX3 on an actual 3 screen 4K virtual pinball cabinet is staggering.I'm not sure if this was always this way, but there seems to be a glitch for this achievement. There's a definite lag between the input and what's seen & heard on the screen. Thinking maybe it was the wireless gamepad, I tried the SHIFT keys on the keyboard.same thing. The lag is real, and I saw it on my first "click". (yes Zen, I moved the flippers from the triggers to the bumpers.WTH were you thinking with that default mapping?) I noticed it immediately after firing up the game and clicking on my XBox One gamepad bumper. If you do that you'll probably notice the lag on the flippers Press a key down, or perhaps a clicky bumper on an xbox controller, and see if you can hear the delay in the flippers click, and the click of the controller bumper. If you're the kind of person who can play pinball with v-sync, you might not notice it. I'm very aware of the input delay, because I play pinball with a VERY low latency monitor and g-sync (Or VR, which is also very low latency). I think it's more like some people notice and some don't, TBH. Only running 1920x1080, so maybe resolution is the issue? I do get some frame rate skips for a few seconds when I load a new table, but during actual gameplay I'm not having any issues. My rig is about six years old (AMD FX-8350 / GeForce GTX 960) and I don't have any problems. Originally posted by Davypi:Interesting to hear about input lag. Flipper lag ruined the fun though, but for physics, good job. These are default settings of course, but in gameplay, honestly FX3 graphics look really great in comparison.Īs a pro, I played the same table from FX3 in FX, so I noticed much better physics in my game play. Game look too dark, and much more colorful, it hurts my eyes. Second big con is, I really did not like new shaders. So, for FX flipper lag, if it is on my side I will blame it on my CPU, if it is not my rig's fault, you guys need to optimize and fix flipper lag problem. I run any games with this baby like butter at 2K resolutions other than the new Elden Ring in which my CPU lags behind (understandable). My comp is i7 4820K 4/8HT running 3,7-3,9, 16GB DDR3 RAM running 1866, and GTX 1070 Zotac AMP ice cold baby. I noticed two major problems.įirst is game engine performance, flippers lag a lot. I will start with cons which are not much but for me important. I played with that table a lot before, so I can compare FX with FX3. I purchased 100 tickets and bought my favorite table, Cindy, Wild West Rampage at 33% discount, and played it until I got the highest score on leader board. I liked the reward item unlocks and trophies feature. I never do subscription options in any games rather than my beloved FFXIV, so I passed it. New menu and store features are custom trophy room and ticket system for table purchases. Hello, I tried new FX yesterday on Epic Store, and decided to give a short feedback, as you guys might find it useful.
